The most popular poker tournament organizer – the WSOP – came up with the schedule for 2021. The organization wants to conduct three big tournaments, and two of them can be played in a traditional offline format.
WSOP tournaments in 2021
The first will be an online competition as it is called to cover the summer pause and not to break quarantine rules. Taking into account the success of the previous summer championship held by GGPoker, the organization wants to draw the attention of the same audience. WSOP Online 2021 is planned to start on July 1 with the help of the All-American Poker Network and multimillion events, and gold bracelets to attract participants. More details will appear on April 15.
The next should be a return of offline poker back to Las Vegas with all the appropriate important features. Thus, the World Series of Poker is planned to start on September 30 and run until November 23. The activity will be hosted by Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where the first events will be dedicated to charitable goals. A $10 000 buy-in Main Event should start on November 4 and finish in 13 days.
The last tournament will be WSOP Europe that should start almost at the end of the Las Vegas competition. The championship should run in Czech Republic’s King’s Casino in Rozvadov, with the reserved dates from November 19 to December 8. The organization plans to suggest 15 WSOP bracelets for the European championship, including the traditional $10K buy-in Main Event.
According to the announcement, the organization keeps its finger on the pulse of health issues, so it will set strict anti-COVID-19 measures and deal with local regulation.
